SEQTA Engage is a parent portal that allows parents to be involved in their child’s education, enabling them to understand what is happening at school, in all aspects.

Overview

SEQTA Engage and SEQTA Learn provides parents and students respectively with access to key information from their school. In addition, teachers can share course and assessment information and allow student to submit work online.

You click on the ‘Go To’ or ‘Today’ buttons to access a lesson, once you are in a Course.

The following components are available for selection from the left-hand menu in SEQTA Engage and SEQTA Learn

Assessments: view assessment information, marks and feedback for assessments. Upload e-submissions and submits online assessments

Courses: course and lesson outlines

Dashboard: access to dash lets (e.g. absences, pastoral care details)

Documents: access to view school document repository

Folios: students can create folios which can then be shared with other students, their parents and/or teachers

Forums: access to teacher-moderated forums

Goals: displays student goal information

myEdOnline: where student can access a site created for a subject

Notices: School notices

Portals: other web resources, e.g.: Careers site and Reaching Out that the school has set

Reports: access to previous academic reports

Settings: profile management

Timetable: selecting timetable in SEQTA Learn will display the student's timetable, this will display the student's classes, tutorial, events etc.
